On Saturday, October 29th the Orion Osenodus circle in Sodus hosted a Pig Roast at Jim Coloumbe’s house back at the pavilion. When asked why their circle was hosting this Dave “Bulldog” Palumbo said “It’s all about connection. Everybody is looking for a tribe or community. This was about getting together to spend time with each other enjoying each others company. That’s why I’ve been with my wife 30 years, we have fun together.”

Dave did a great job of smoking ribs, beef brisket, a pork shoulder, a brined ham and even some jalapenos. All were mouth watering. There were the dishes that everyone brought to pass, I am hesitant to try and list them as I would not want to leave even one out. It will suffice to say it was delicious food all around.

It was an afternoon to enjoy the company of other men,  strengthen our connection to the those we have come to know and work with as brothers in addition to meeting some of their spouses and significant others. It was just a time to celebrate each other and strengthen our friendships. A good time was had by all.
