Brothers … I offer up a suggestion: A Holiday Party for members of our local MKP Community to participate in with their families and Circles. Here’s a readymade event that is warm and engaging, full of dancing and good cheer … and all we have to do is show up. We don’t have a rent a hall … done. We don’t have to hire a band … done. It’s a brother dance, sister dance, brother and sister dance, father-daughter mother-son dance … WITH DANCE LESSONS … Cajun Dance Lessons.
All you have to do is talk it up amongst your brothers and your families and JOIN US to have a fabulous time together. Bring a dish or snack to pass and we’ve got dinner covered. HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT.
BACKGROUND … I helped found the Rochester Cajun Zydeco Network 14 years ago to spread the joy of music and dance from and inspired by the Cajun & Creole people of South West Louisiana, we’ve been throwing monthly dances ever since. Check it out!!!
